THIS WEEK AT A GLANCE

SUNDAY SERMON

OUR 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IS THIS SUNDAY!

There will be a potluck and extended coffee time after the service. So please bring a dish to share!

We are giving everyone the option to eat in the FLC or outside depending on your comfort level during this time.

Towards the end of our fellowship together, we will be burying a time capsule on the church property to remind future generations of GEECC of God's faithfulness! We hope you make arrangements to join us!"

FEATURED UPDATES

BOOK CLUB

The book club of GECov members studying racial justice has picked our next book, by Jennifer Bailey "To my Beloveds: Letters on Faith, Race, Loss, and Radical Hope." It is a short book in which she shares her personal experiences including her mother's death from cancer. We will start discussions November 2 and should finish before the holidays. We have changed our meeting night to Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30, on Zoom. (Except not meeting the second Tuesday of every month). We are happy to have more people join us, if you are interested call or text Mary Crickmore at 630-888-8522.

ANNIVERSARY ART EXHIBIT

Our artists have responded to Psalm 75 in honor of our 75th Anniversary. The South Alcove Gallery is now open, with more art coming in the next few days. Each piece has an artist inspiration of how Psalm 75 spoke to them. Come see the artists’ forms of worship.
