Jeff is twice a graduate of Wheaton College, with a B.A. in Business/Economics and a M.A. in Biblical Studies. While he spent his first years after college in the world of finance, it was clear that his true passion and calling in life is pastoral ministry. Jeff is outgoing and inspiring; his authentic love for Christ shines through in everything he does. He and his wife, Jori, both grew up in Wheaton where they now live with their three children, Everly, Kysa and Casey. Jeff’s passion in life is to inspire those he is with to a more authentic relationship with Jesus, others, and themselves.
Dawn has served the Evangelical Covenant Church as a chaplain, a worship pastor, and now as Associate Pastor for Congregational Life at Glen Ellyn Covenant. She gives thanks for how the Lord called her to be a pastor through her music. Dawn is passionate about intergenerational ministry and finding ways for all ages to grow deeper in their walk with Jesus Christ. She has a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, and a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary. Growing up in Connecticut instilled in Dawn an abiding love for sailing and the ocean. She and her husband, David, are graduates of Wheaton College, where David now serves as an academic Dean. They have a daughter, a daughter-in-law, two sons, and a dog named Wrigley. Dawn is grateful that she worships each week with three generations of her own family (parents, children, nieces and nephews), and with the church family that she has known since childhood.
Hey Y’all! My name is Joseph, and I am from Holland, MI. I love grilling out, Chicago sports, playing catch with the frisbee, and Billy Joel. I grew up going to the local church Youth Group and participating in Young Life. I attended a gap year program post-High School, and that was when I knew I wanted to follow Jesus. After College, I hit the workforce doing a wide variety of jobs. Summers were spent working at a camp called HoneyRock, where I could build relationships, spend time with others, and talk about the gospel. It was during that time that I knew I wanted to live a life of ministry. I am super excited to serve at Glen Ellyn Covenant Church and be a part of this incredible community!
Susan was born in Incheon, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was nine. Not long after, she attended college and received a BS degree from Loyola University in Chemistry and a Master's in Clinical Laboratory Science from Rush Medical University.
However, Susan's passion for serving and sharing the love of Christ led her to Trinity International University, where she holds a BA degree in Management emphasizing Christian Leadership and down a path of 20 years of dedicated service as a youth pastor. Susan firmly believes that if Jesus takes root in a child's heart, that seed's fruit can and will continue to grow throughout their lives. Susan is grateful and excited to be part of the Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church.
She and her husband, David, and their two children Joshua and Aviel moved to Winfield in 2018 shortly after David was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. Susan enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and rooting for the Cubbies and the Bears!
Karen joined our staff in May of 2011, bringing with her extensive experience in administrative and financial management with other non-profits in the Wheaton area. She is exceedingly patient with those staff members who are not "numbers people" and such a delight to be around. She and her husband, John, have three children and have lived in the west suburbs their whole life.
Holly is a graduate of Benedictine University and has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 10 years. Holly came to us highly recommended with her experience as an Assistant Director and many years of teaching. Her nurturing nature, calm guidance and love for the Lord shines through and spreads to all she encounters. Holly works hard to find connections between the church and the preschool, between the two staffs, and with families from the church and school. We benefit greatly from her expertise in this important role and are blessed to have her represent our church in this position of community outreach. She and her husband, Scott, have three young children and live in Wheaton.
