The Winter Retreat Theme:
Belonging. This year Covenant Harbor is focusing on what it means to belong to Jesus. In John 1:35–51 and Matthew 9:9–13, Jesus calls His disciples and shows that we are created to be known, loved, and welcomed by Him. In John 4:4–26 and Psalm 139, we see that He knows us completely and still loves us fully. His love then sends us out to love and serve others (Matthew 28:18–20; John 21:15–19). And in Acts 2:42–47, we see this belonging lived out in real community.
This weekend is always a highlight of the year! Feel free to share this with other parents. Let me know if you have any questions!
