CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

There will be a special congregational meeting July 11th, after the service.

BOOK DISSCUSSION GROUP

Greetings, book lovers. We are on to our third book on the topic of the place of race in our culture. For the summer, we are reading on our own instead of meeting weekly.

We will be reading I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown during June and July. We will be meeting to discuss it on Saturday July 17.

If you would like to participate, contact Mary Crickmore at mcrickmore@worldrenew.net.

ALL CHURCH BBQ - FAREWELL TO PAM & ELIZA

Join us in sending off Pam and Eliza July 21st! The church will provide the main dish and dessert. We are asking that everyone bring a side dish to share and chairs or blankets to sit on.

75TH ANNIVERSARY OF GEECC

In 1946 a small group of families heard God's call to plant a church on the corner of Kenilworth and Hawthorne in Glen Ellyn Illinois. Three quarters of a century later, that church stands, much changed in appearance and size but not at all in purpose--to know Christ Jesus and to make Him known. This year we are privileged to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Glen Ellyn Evangelical Church by recognizing and proclaiming God's faithfulness in the past, the present, and the future.

We are also asking you to upload pictures and stories that you have from over the years at GEECC. You may upload these things HERE or bring them into the office.

We are excited to start celebrating with you!
