CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR SEARCH
Dear church family,
We are excited to begin looking for our new full time children’s director. The search team and Pastor Jeff have prayerfully and thoughtfully put together a job description that fits the needs of our growing children’s ministries. While we will be using traditional means to search for applicants, we also wanted to reach out to the congregation to see if there anyone you might know that would be a fit for this role. Given the fact that our last two children’s directors have been members of our congregation, we thought this would be a prudent course of action in our search.

ART CONNECTS
Check out our new exhibit in the Atrium Gallery!
This summer we have a new exhibit from our own artists that have submitted a digital image of these original paintings to the online gallery Artconnects.net project we were all a part of creating. The www.ArtConnects.net Project is an online gallery to create a space where artists can speak about this last year and the themes of Connection. This online exhibit is only open for this month, so check out the amazing submissions of art from all over the world. Let the art speak. Feedback is welcomed at 2013themakerssapce@gmail.com
ALL CHURCH PICNIC
It’s time to kick off our 75th Anniversary year of celebration. Sunday, June 27th right after worship we will gather in the open field for an all church picnic to celebrate 3 ordinations in our extended church family: Pastor Jeff Root, Dawn Holt Lauber, and Sam Gyorfi. We are asking that you bring a dishes based of your last name.

Q-Z - Dessert
Drinks and paper products will be provided.
So dig out you favorite recipes and while you’re at it submit them to the office for the new church cookbook!
75TH ANNIVERSARY OF GEECC
Our church is creating a custom cookbook, to commemorate 75 years, featuring favorite recipes from our members! Please submit your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our cookbook. You can submit online or bring hardcopies into the office. Please submit by June 30th! Find all info about the church cook book HERE.
We are also asking you to upload pictures and stories that you have from over the years at GEECC. You may upload these things HERE or bring them into the office.
We are excited to start celebrating with you!
