Summer Sermon Series
What Difference does the Holy Spirit Make
In the Life of a Believer
In the Life of the Church
Dear Church,
We continue in our sermon series on the Holy Spirit. Acts. John’s gospel. Paul’s epistles. Quite a journey!
We now find ourselves in the book of Revelation. If able, I would love for you to read the first thee chapters and the letters to the seven churches before next Sunday. “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches!”
Join us for worship this Sunday as we welcome back Pastor Jeff, Jori, and their family.
The Lord be with you! Pastor Dawn

EXODUS WORLD SERVICE
The whole month of June is recognized as a time to honor and pray for refugees which we did in our June 16 service. Women’s Ministries donated items for a “Welcome to America” pack that was delivered to a family in May.
If you would like more ways to get involved with Exodus World service, follow this link here.
Information is also located on our bulletin boards around church. See Pastor Dawn for more details.
Missions Focus: Julius Coomson
Upcoming Partner Visit
During our worship service on Sunday, July 28, we will have a chance to visit with Julius Coomson, who leads Makers of Disciple Makers in Ghana. This flourishing ministry includes discipleship training of students at the University of Ghana, Accra campus, and evangelistic outreach to senior high school students. Julius also is a pastor and preacher at Legon Interdenominational Church in Ghana. He will share an update on his and Ivanna’s ministry and will be available immediately afterwards for a time of Q&A that morning.
Then on Tuesday evening, July 30, at 7:00 pm, Lisa and Eric Fowler will host a time to greet Julius at their home and learn more about the family’s ministry. The Fowler’s address is 107 White Oak Drive, in Wheaton.
We met Julius when he was a graduate student at Wheaton College and came to know him while he worshipped with us at Glen Ellyn Covenant Church before returning to Ghana. We have been a ministry partner since 2020.
