SERMON SERIES

A YEAR LONG STUDY OF ROMANS

Dear Church,

What does it mean to confess Jesus is Lord?

Is Jesus Lord over our whole lives (decisions, choices, desires, the good, the bad, and the ordinary)? Or do we hold some aspects of our daily living back for ourselves? Do we trust Jesus enough to be Lord over everything in our lives?

Join us this Sunday as we study Romans 10 and discover the unique, life-changing and life-flourishing reality of Jesus as Lord.

See you on Sunday!
Pastor Dawn

CANS FOR CHANGE

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR COVENANT WORLD RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT

Donations are being collected during Lent to support the work of Covenant World Relief & Development. Part of our denomination’s Serve Globally department, CWRD “works through local partners around the world to reduce human suffering for the most vulnerable people and support healthy communities.” This focused giving opportunity during Lent is additional to regular giving to our church’s General & Missions Fund.

“Cans for Change” labels and lids for making individual or family CWRD collection banks at home will be available near Higher Grounds. Donations may also be made by check or via our church website here.  The cans will be collected on Easter Sunday.

SERVE THE LORD IN JOY

“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophesy, in proprotion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness” Romans 12: 4-8

Do you volunteer on Sundays? Thank you! It’s a blessing, right?!
Do you WANT to volunteer on Sundays? Wonderful! There are many ways you can serve, and you’ll be so happy you did!

If you answered yes to one or both of the above questions, please go to our church website and check out the serving opportunities and schedule;

1. choose “Serve” from the top right pull down menu.

2. then click on the orange box “Sunday Serve Sign-Up”

Or you can simply click SERVE right here!

And for your convenience, please see the QR code on the Sunday bulletins, which takes you to the same “Serve” site on our website :)
