The word “maundy” comes from the Latin, novum mandatum, meaning “new commandment.” On this day in Holy Week, we will gather to remember Jesus’ command to love one another, to serve one another, as he has served and loved us. Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and served them a meal of memory. A meal to remember his death on the cross.
Join us at 7pm in our lower gathering room (FLC) to participate in an act of serving one another and remembering Christ’s death in the Meal of Remembrance (The Lord’s Supper). We will practice social distancing and wear masks. Families are welcome! Please REGISTER to attend the time of worship.
